Can you recommend a lip balm that works?

Ive been looking for a good lip balm to use, as my lips are quite dry from all this cold UK weather we have been having.

I used to use this great one that I brought from Debenhams a few years ago it came in a glass jar and was a pinky colour. It only cost £2 ish, but I lost it and cant remember the name of it!!

I tend to buy a new one every 2/3 months.

Anyway I have tried Burt Bees Pomegranate , Which to be honest I didn't like one bit, the taste of it was horrible, and it didn't condition that much at all.

Also have tried Chapstick,Nivea (which i found was too thick) Carmex and a few others.

The latest one I have brought is by Cowshed, Which smells lovely and is great to use to protect lips once they are in good condition, but I am looking for something to actually heal my lips.

If anyone has any suggestions that would be great :) thanks

  1. Lush honeytrap lipbalm is really good.
and the original burt's bees is WAY better than the pomegranate.

  2. thanks il have to try out that Lush one :)

  3. Hmm...I really like Burt's Bees with the peppermint oil..did you try that one?
